Once upon a time, I had another book blog that ended up being short lived. I got really busy with school and then eventually stopped all together. Looking back now, it wasn’t the blog that I really wanted to be writing which explains why I eventually fell out of it. So this is the beginning of the blog I always wanted to write, a book and travel blog with a sprinkle of life rambling thrown in. I also want to be able to adapt and evolve into anything without it feeling like I’m losing the core focus of my blog. Its a bit hard to put into words, but it makes sense in my head so we’re rolling with it.
Some goals for the blog:
- Get better with my writing prose. I haven’t been writing in a very long time, so it’ll take some time to get back in the swing of things.
- Read more. I found that when writing about books, I get more excited about reading them. Also, I remember books better after I’ve reflected and written about them, so, this is just an overall win.
- Travel with more intention. Traveling even on a short day trip can teach alot. I’ve been finding myself not searching for those lessons like I used to. My hopes is if I’m searching for creativity and purpose while traveling it’ll send me straight after those lessons and take me out of my comfort zone.
- Share knowledge that helps people. Not sure how this will look like yet, it can be anything really.
- Connections. Probably the biggest factor, I want to have conversations with people who have the same passions as me. People that I can learn and grow from. So please introduce yourself!
